Kevin Farrell
It was in 1971 that the teenaged Kevin Farrell first saw a radio studio at Butlins Holiday Camp in Pwllheli and wanted to have a go at radio.
Many years later I started to volunteer at Warrington's Hospital Radio station collecting
requests and going on to present the Friday Request show, the 70s show and Sunday sport.
A brief venture into the real world saw me presenting shows on a number of temporary radio stations around the North West and I presented Saturday Sport at Cheshire FM for a number of months. I presented an Celtic music show on-line and was delighted that I had
listeners around the world enjoying what I was playing.
I am always willing to listen to music that is new to me- my favourite music is 70s stuff as I grew up with it (friends will tell you I have yet to grow up). I also enjoy a lot of modern music.
I have 3 sons who also recommend bands to me to have a listen to.
